Thank you to all the parents, step-parents, and grandparents for coming out to our Christmas musical! I just posted a few pictures that I took today. They are found on the Music page.
I just uploaded the pictures I took from the DARE Graduation today. The pictures are found on the Health & PDCP page.
I just uploaded pictures of the students' ornaments onto the Art page. They are quite stunning! The emphasis for this lesson was on different kinds of lines.
The students' DARE Grad is this Wednesday, December 10th at 10:00 AM at Saint John High School. We will be leaving Centennial at 9:20 AM, so that we will arrive for approximately 9:40.
I'll have my camera on me and I will take lots of pictures! I will be sure to post them on the Health page. Your son/daughter will be given a DARE t-shirt and a certificate stating that they have successfully completed the program. One student will be selected from each and every DARE class to receive a medal for their memorable essay and willing participation week after week. As I'm sure you are used to having lots and lots of notices sent home on Mondays, this Monday is no exception! Please keep an eye out for:
1) Weekly Homework Sheet (Spelling Test on 5 words -Friday, Dec.12th) 2) Math Homework (Due: Friday, Dec. 12th) 3) Centennial Lunch Club (last day= Thursday, Dec. 11th) 4) Hot Lunch Form for January (Due: Friday, Dec. 12th) 5) Milk Form for January (Due: Friday, Dec. 12th) 6) PJ Day (Wed., Dec. 10th) & Popcorn (Fri., Dec. 12th) 7) Christmas Bazaar (Tuesday, Dec. 16th) Hi everyone! Just a friendly reminder that Pokemon cards are considered to be toys, so could you please INSIST that your child leave his/her cards at home. There have been many, many arguments this year over the trading of these cards.
Parents, please check out the video. The link is posted below. It is all about the child poverty rate. Saint John, New Brunswick is one of three cities featured. Centennial School is also featured in the video. It shows a glimpse at our fantastic Breakfast Program.
